Did you know that 96% of all car seats are installed improperly? In an effort to support the wellbeing of all children in Palm Beach County, Nicklaus Children's Hospital, in conjunction with Palm Beach County Safe Kids Coalition, is hosting a monthly child safety car seat checkup event.

Parents are invited to have certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians check their child’s car seat for proper installation, safety and recall status, and provide education.

The next safety-check event will be held Friday, February 9 from 1-4 p.m. at 5325 Greenwood Avenue, WPB 33407. You must have an appointment to attend and can register by calling (561) 422-9578. You must bring your child, car seat and vehicle to the event. If you need a new child restraint, a new one will be available for a donation.
