Oh Baby! Quadruplets Delivered at SMMC

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – St. Mary’s Medical Center announced today that quadruplets, including a set of identical twins, were delivered yesterday to proud parents Catherine and Mike Fulton of Loxahatchee Fla.  Doctors Seth J. Herbst, MD; Moises A. Virelles, MD; and Gary M. Cohen, MD, delivered three girls and one boy at approx. 8:30 a.m. The babies’ names and weights are:

 · Camryn, 4 lbs. 7 oz. (Girl)

· Brendan, 4 lbs., 3.5 oz. (Boy)

· Avery, 3 lbs., 6.5 oz. (Girl)

· Lindsey, 3 lbs., 2.8 oz. (Girl) 

Avery and Lindsey are identical twins. According to the National Center for Health Statistics, 468 quadruplets were born in 2004* and only eight percent are combinations of identical and fraternal twins. 

Mom and Dad will be available for interviews tomorrow, January 19, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Medical Center.  Media is required to call prior to attending: 561-840-6131.
