Laura Cillo

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – St. Mary’s Medical Center CEO Davide M. Carbone announced today that Boca Raton resident Laura Cillo has been named Associate Administrator, Pediatric Sercices, at St. Mary’s and Nicklaus Children’s Hospital.

In her new role, Cillo’s primary responsibilities will include pediatric physician relations and recruitment, strategic planning, program development, research and teaching affiliations and operational oversight of Nicklaus Children’s Hospital.  She reports directly to Carbone and will work with other members of the medical center’s leadership team.

Cillo brings with her 15 years of healthcare experience.  Most recently, she was a member of the Tenet Healthcare Florida Region’s Operations Excellence department, overseeing operational and quality improvements throughout Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties.  Prior to that, Cillo served as Chief Executive Officer of Cleveland Clinic Hospital in Weston for three years and had been Chief Operating Officer, Associate Administrator and Assistant Administrator at Delray Medical Center in Delray Beach for 11 years.

Cillo earned a radiology technology degree from Miseracordia Hospital in New York and  bachelor’s  and master’s degrees in Health Services Administration from Florida International University in Miami.
