We encourage our patients to tour The Birthplace at St. Mary's Medical Center to help prepare for the upcoming birth of their baby. Expectant parents may schedule a maternity tour during any stage of pregnancy, but the best time to tour is during the seventh month of pregnancy in case the baby arrives early. A tour of The Birthplace includes visiting:

• Labor and Delivery
• The Operating Room
• The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) 
• The Mother/Baby Unit
• Watch a film on epidurals
• Question and answer period

Touring the Birthplace at St. Mary's Medical Center is free, offered four times each month and class size is limited, registration is required. For questions or to sign up call 561-882-9100. You can also view tour availability and register online.
