Robert E. Millar named Director of the Rehab Institute and Stroke Program

Robert E. Millar has been named Nursing Director of the Rehabilitation Institute and Stroke Program at St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach.  As director, he will oversee the Rehabilitation Institute and be responsible for developing the hospital’s Stroke Program.

Millar, who joined the hospital staff in 1984, most recently served as a senior systems analyst in the Information Services Department where he assisted in the research, design, development, testing and implementation of new software programs for the facility. 

“A tireless and dedicated employee, Bob enjoys the confidence of our staff and knows what it takes to keep our hospital at the top of its game,” said Chief Nursing Officer Joey Bulfin.  “I am confident he will be instrumental in taking the Rehabilitation Institute to the next level.”

He earned a diploma in nursing (cum laude) from Hackley Hospital School of Nursing in Michigan and received bachelor’s degrees in nursing from Western Michigan University and in health services administration from Florida Atlantic University.  Millar also earned a Master of Science from Nova Southeastern University in Davie.
