SMMC Names New Assistant Director of Rehabilitation Institute

Regina Stolpman, RN, has been promoted to Assistant Director of the Rehabilitation Institute at St. Mary's Medical Center. 

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – St. Mary’s Medical Center CEO Davide M. Carbone announces that Boynton Beach resident Regina Stolpman, RN, has been promoted to Assistant Director of the Rehabilitation Institute at the hospital. Stolpman, who most recently served as employee health nurse at St. Mary’s, assumes her new position as of today.

“Regina has a solid background in medical and surgical nursing and she brings a wealth of skill and knowledge to the Rehabilitation Institute,” says Institute Director Robert Millar, RN, MS.  “We look for continued good things from her that will benefit both our hospital and the community.”

Stolpman has experience as a charge nurse, preceptor and educator in busy emergency rooms.  Her career also includes working as a home health coordinator, occupational health nurse, case management and utilization review nurse, and legal nurse consultant.  She has received certifications in risk management from the Florida Risk Management Institute and legal nurse consultant from the American Academy of Medical Legal Consultants.

Stolpman earned an associate’s degree in nursing from Mohawk Valley Community College and has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Florida Atlantic University.  Currently enrolled at Walden University, she is completing work on a master’s in nursing management.
