WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – St. Mary’s Medical Center announced today that is has reached an agreement with CIGNA Corporation (NYSE: CI). The hospital is part of a national
agreement entered into by its parent company, Tenet Healthcare Corporation (NYSE: THC). The new, multi-year agreement means that St. Mary’s Medical Center, its outpatient centers and employed physician practices will remain part of the CIGNA network. This will give people in the area who are covered by CIGNA continued access to the hospital and its services at their in-network benefit level.
“We are pleased to renew our relationship with CIGNA,” said Davide M. Carbone, chief executive officer of St. Mary’s Medical Center. “This agreement will allow our hospital to continue offering quality care to the members of the CIGNA network.”
