West Palm Beach, Fla. (November 4, 2009) - The Children’s Hospital at St. Mary’s Medical Center celebrated Halloween this year with a “Pirates of the Caribbean” themed party for its young patients and volunteers. Led by Captain Jack Sparrow and the Black Pearl, a trick-or-treat parade of children trekked through the decorated hospital floors in the hopes of finding hidden treasure and treats.

“The thrill of trick-or-treating and picking costumes are things that many children look forward to for weeks before Halloween,” said Lisa Rocheleau, Director of Pediatric Services at St. Mary’s. “Being able to provide that experience for these young patients brings joy to everyone at the hospital.”

The Junior League generously donated funds for party supplies, as well as volunteers
