In an effort to provide a more healthy, safe and satisfying environment to our staff, patients, physicians, visitors and external community; St. Mary's Medical Center and the Children's Hospital at St. Mary's has adopted a smoke-free, tobacco-free policy. In accordance with this new policy, all applicants undergo Post-offer, Pre-Hire Nicotine testing. The employment offer will be rescinded if an applicant tests positive for nicotine. Once rescinded, applicants will be allowed to reapply for open positions after one year.
