23-year-old stroke victim shares story with WPBF

Dec 7, 2022

Jonah Robertson, 23, started to feel funny. He was confused and just didn’t feel right. His girlfriend, who is thankfully an ER nurse, told him to go to St. Mary’s Medical Center to get checked out for a stroke.

Despite not checking any of the boxes that would make him prone to strokes as a young man, he was suffering from one. The college lacrosse player received treatment quick enough that he’s made a full recovery and back on the field. WPBF featured his story, and interviewed Dr. Juan Ramos-Canseco, who treated Jonah.
