Inpatient Rehab

The Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit offers a multidisciplinary team approach that strives to provide a nurturing environment that promotes patient independence for a safe discharge back to their homes.

The unit is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and CARF accredited for Comprehensive Medical Rehabilitation.

The Rehabilitation Institute at St. Mary’s Medical Center accepts adolescent (13 – 17 years of age) through geriatric populations that may benefit from the following diagnoses:

  • Stroke
  • Head Injury
  • Brain Injury
  • Spinal Cord Injury
  • Neurological Patients
  • Amputees
  • Trauma Patients
  • Selected Orthopedic Patients
  • Selected Joint Replacement Patients

We accept children ages thirteen through seventeen
