St. Mary’s Medical Center Appoints Michael Leopold as Associate Administrator

West Palm Beach, Fla. (April 29, 2015) – With 20 years of healthcare management expertise, Michael Leopold is St. Mary’s Medical Center’s new Associate Administrator. He will be responsible for providing administrative support for the 464-bed, acute care hospital and its departments.

“Michael is a welcomed addition to the administrative team at St. Mary’s,” said CEO Davide Carbone. “With his tremendous and diverse expertise in healthcare management, we feel confident that he will play an integral role in the hospital’s continued success.”

Prior to his appointment at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Leopold served as the Director of Rehabilitation Services for sister hospital, Good Samaritan Medical Center. While there, he held the following leadership roles: Administrative Director of Environmental Services, Chairman of the Environment of Care Committee, Emergency Management Coordinator and Program Director of Operations Performance Improvement.

Leopold earned his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Daemen College in Amherst, New York, and his Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration from South University in Savannah, Georgia.

Leopold and his wife Jessica have three children, Casey, who is currently attending the University of Florida in Gainesville, Aaron, who will be graduating high school in May 2015, and Jenna who will be starting middle school next year.
