A steady response when it matters most—an emergency

When faced with a sudden trip to the emergency room, you need to feel confident in the people who take care of you.

The fast and measured care provided by St. Mary’s Medical Center’s ER staff is designed to allow your condition to be assessed as soon as you arrive and expedite treatment.

If you have an urgent, but not life-threatening emergency, you can use our online check-in tool to help reduce your wait time.

We offer advanced care in difficult situations.

St. Mary’s is designated as a Level 1 Trauma Center by the State of Florida, which puts us in an elite group of only 24 trauma research centers in the state. We are also one of only 10 Florida hospitals certified as an acute Brain and Spinal Cord Injury Program, and one of four designated as a Pediatric Referral Center. That means you can expect the most advanced level of care available anytime you enter our ER.

Hear from someone who’s been there: Meet Lori

The unexpected can happen at a moment’s notice. Lori LeBeau learned that while spending the summer in Florida from Ontario, Canada. What she thought was a stomach flu turned out to be an aneurysm.
